CONCEPT



SOLUTION

To create an artefact and type specimen for a chosen variable typeface, and convey its key characteristics along with its recommended uses. 


Having chosen Swear Display by OHno Type Co., I wanted to express the glamorous side of the typeface with a sense of flair and luxury, inspired by its origins of calligraphy with a flat brush and its alternative italic family called ‘cilati’.


Within the context of a luxurious bar, a promotional cocktail poster and a table-talker cocktail menu work together to celebrate the uniquely stylish characteristics of Swear Display.
