SOLUTION

To create a brand based on a given foreign word (datsuzoku), target audience (the wild things) and business category (education & learning).


The Japanese word datsuzoku (脱俗) refers to escaping from daily routine to discover new creativity in nature. Bliss was created with the intention to educate people about this way of zen.


An aromatherapy and incense brand named Bliss, which aims to inform users on the most beneficial essential oil to use based on their current struggles in life.








USER JOURNEY


A corporate wellbeing workshop.Employees get to learn about the brand, create their own incense holder with provided clay and tools, and take some incense samples home to try.



The Bliss app. Users complete a questionnaire about their life and current wellbeing state. They will receive a type of incense that best suits their needs and can then order the incense sticks along with a personalized incense holder.



Final product.A box with all the components will be delivered to their house with a nameplate and small description of their ‘diagnosis’. In order to retain brand engagement, users are encouraged to re-complete the survey after 3 months to see if their wellbeing needs have changed, and whether they’d like to purchase a new incense.
